The lanyard is made from polyester and features a double-layer construction: two fabric straps sewn together. The upper layer is usually personalised with a logo, while the lower one remains in a solid colour. Various width options are available – from 10 mm (top layer) and 15 mm (bottom layer) up to 20/25 mm.

Metal hooks come in different types: fish hook, crab hook, and crocodile clip. A GSM loop or clip can be added to attach a mobile phone or accessory. The plastic buckle allows the lower part to be detached without removing the lanyard from the neck.
