This English version of the Privacy Policy / Terms and Conditions is provided for information purposes only. The original and legally binding version is in Polish. All contracts concluded through the online store lanyardsgroup.pl are governed exclusively by Polish law and in the Polish language.
- This Privacy Policy defines the rules for processing personal data obtained through the online store lanyardsgroup.pl (hereinafter referred to as: “Online Store”).
- The owner of the Online Store and also the data controller is Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz with its registered office in Radom (26-610), ul. Rodziny Winczewskich 10/19a, NIP: 7991848900, REGON: 140011759, hereinafter referred to as Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz.
- Personal data collected by Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz through the Online Store are processed in accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), also known as GDPR, and relevant provisions of Polish law.
- Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz takes particular care to respect the privacy of Clients visiting the Online Store.
§ 1 Type of data processed, purposes and legal basis
- Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz collects information concerning natural persons performing a legal act not directly related to their business activity, natural persons conducting business or professional activity on their own behalf, and natural persons representing legal entities, or organizational units that are not legal entities, to which the law grants legal capacity, hereinafter collectively referred to as Clients.
- Clients’ personal data are collected in case of:
a. registration of an account in the Online Store, in order to create an individual account and manage it. Legal basis: necessity for the performance of the Account service contract (Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. b GDPR);
b. placing an order in the Online Store, in order to perform the sales contract. Legal basis: necessity for the performance of the sales contract (Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. b GDPR);
c. subscription to the newsletter, in order to perform the contract whose subject is a service provided electronically. Legal basis – consent of the data subject to the performance of the Newsletter service contract (Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. a GDPR);
d. using the contact form service in the Online Store in order to perform the contract provided electronically. Legal basis: necessity for the performance of the contact form service contract (Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. b GDPR). - In case of account registration in the Online Store, the Client provides:
a. email address;
b. first and last name;
c. phone number. - During account registration in the Online Store, the Client independently sets an individual access password to their account. The Client may change the password later, according to the rules described in §5.
- In case of placing an order in the Online Store, the Client provides the following data:
a. email address;
b. address data;
c. postal code and city;
d. country;
e. street with house/apartment number.
f. first and last name;
g. phone number. - In the case of Entrepreneurs, the above scope of data is additionally extended by:
a. the Entrepreneur’s company name;
b. NIP number. - In case of using the Newsletter service, the Client provides only their email address.
- In case of using the contact form service, the Client provides the following data:
a. email address;
b. first and last name;
c. phone number. - When using the Online Store Website, additional information may be collected, in particular: IP address assigned to the Client’s computer or external IP address of the Internet provider, domain name, browser type, access time, operating system type.
- Navigational data may also be collected from Clients, including information about links and references they choose to click or other actions taken in the Online Store. Legal basis – legitimate interest (Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. f GDPR), consisting in facilitating the use of electronically provided services and improving the functionality of these services.
- For the purpose of establishing, asserting and enforcing claims, certain personal data provided by the Client within the framework of using functionalities in the Online Store may be processed, such as: first name, last name, data concerning the use of services, if the claims result from the way the Client uses the services, other data necessary to prove the existence of the claim, including the extent of damage incurred. Legal basis – legitimate interest (Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. f GDPR), consisting in establishing, asserting and enforcing claims and in defending against claims in proceedings before courts and other state authorities.
- Providing personal data to Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz is voluntary, in connection with sales contracts concluded, or provision of services via the Online Store Website, with the reservation, however, that failure to provide the data specified in the forms during the Registration process prevents Registration and the creation of a Client Account, and in the case of placing an order without Client Account Registration, it will prevent the placement and fulfillment of the Client’s order.
§ 2 To whom are data shared or entrusted and how long are they stored?
- Client’s personal data are transferred to service providers used by Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz in operating the Online Store. Service providers to whom personal data are transferred, depending on contractual agreements and circumstances, either follow the instructions of Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz as to the purposes and methods of processing these data (processors), or independently determine the purposes and methods of their processing (controllers).
a. Processors. Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz uses providers who process personal data only on the instructions of Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz. These include, among others, providers of hosting services, accounting services, marketing systems, systems for analyzing traffic in the Online Store, systems for analyzing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns;
b. Controllers. Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz uses providers who do not act exclusively on instructions and independently determine the purposes and methods of using Clients’ personal data. They provide electronic payment and banking services. - Location. Service providers are based in Poland and other countries of the European Economic Area (EEA).
- Clients’ personal data are stored:
a. If the basis for personal data processing is consent, then the Client’s personal data are processed by Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz as long as the consent is not withdrawn, and after withdrawal of consent for a period corresponding to the statute of limitations for claims that Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz may raise and that may be raised against it. Unless a specific provision states otherwise, the limitation period is six years, and for claims for periodic benefits and claims related to conducting business activity – three years.
b. If the basis for data processing is the performance of a contract, then the Client’s personal data are processed by Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz as long as it is necessary for the performance of the contract, and after that time for a period corresponding to the statute of limitations for claims. Unless a specific provision states otherwise, the limitation period is six years, and for claims for periodic benefits and claims related to conducting business activity – three years. - In case of a purchase in the Online Store, personal data may be transferred to a courier company, in order to deliver the ordered goods.
- Navigational data may be used to provide Clients with better service, analyze statistical data and adapt the Online Store to Clients’ preferences, as well as administer the Online Store.
- If the Client subscribes to the newsletter, Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz will send electronic messages containing commercial information about promotions and new products available in the Online Store to their email address.
- In case of a request, Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz provides personal data to authorized state authorities, in particular organizational units of the Prosecutor’s Office, Police, President of the Personal Data Protection Office, President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection or President of the Office of Electronic Communications.
§ 3 Cookies mechanism, IP address
- The Online Store uses small files, called cookies. They are saved by Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz on the end device of the person visiting the Online Store, if the internet browser allows it. A cookie file usually contains the name of the domain it comes from, its “expiration time” and an individual, randomly selected number identifying this file. Information collected using this type of files helps Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz adapt the products offered to the individual preferences and actual needs of people visiting the Online Store. They also enable the development of general statistics of visits to the presented products in the Online Store.
- Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz uses two types of cookie files:
a. Session cookies: after the end of the session of a given browser or turning off the computer, the saved information is deleted from the device’s memory. The session cookie mechanism does not allow the collection of any personal data or any confidential information from Clients’ computers.
b. Persistent cookies: are stored in the memory of the Client’s end device and remain there until they are deleted or expire. The persistent cookie mechanism does not allow the collection of any personal data or any confidential information from Clients’ computers. - Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz uses its own cookies for:
a. authenticating the Client in the Online Store and ensuring the Client’s session in the Online Store (after logging in), thanks to which the Client does not have to re-enter their login and password on each subpage of the Online Store;
b. analysis and research and audience audit, and in particular for creating anonymous statistics that help understand how Clients use the Online Store Website, which allows for improving its structure and content. - Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz uses external cookies for:
a. popularizing the Online Store via Instagram (external cookie administrator: Instagram LLC. with its registered office in the USA);
b. popularizing the Online Store via the social networking site facebook.com (external cookie administrator: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited with its registered office in Ireland);
c. presenting on the informational pages of the Store, a map indicating the location of the Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz office, via the website maps.google.com (external cookie administrator: Google Inc with its registered office in the USA);
d. collecting general and anonymous static data via Google Analytics analytical tools (external cookie administrator: Google LLC with its registered office in the USA). - The cookie mechanism is safe for Clients’ computers in the Online Store. In particular, it is not possible for viruses or other unwanted software or malicious software to get into Clients’ computers this way. Nevertheless, Clients have the option in their browsers to limit or disable access to cookies on computers. In case of using this option, using the Online Store will be possible, except for functions that by their nature require cookies.
- Below we present how to change the settings of popular internet browsers regarding the use of cookies:
a. Chrome and Chrome Mobile browser;
b. Facebook in-app Browser;
c. Internet Explorer browser;
d. Microsoft EDGE browser;
e. Mozilla Firefox browser;
f. Opera browser;
g. Safari and Safari Mobile browser;
h. Samsung Browser. - Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz may collect Clients’ IP addresses. An IP address is a number assigned to the computer of a person visiting the Online Store by the internet service provider. The IP number enables internet access. In most cases, it is assigned dynamically to the computer, i.e., it changes with each connection to the Internet. The IP address is used by Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz for diagnosing technical problems with the server, creating statistical analyzes (e.g., determining from which regions we record the most visits), as useful information for administering and improving the Online Store, and also for security purposes and possible identification of server-burdening, undesirable automatic programs for browsing the content of the Online Store.
- The Online Store contains links and references to other websites. Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz is not responsible for the privacy policies applicable on them.
§ 4 Rights of data subjects
- Right to withdraw consent – legal basis: Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR.
a. The Client has the right to withdraw any consent given to Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz.
b. Withdrawal of consent is effective from the moment of withdrawal.
c. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the processing carried out by Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz in accordance with the law before its withdrawal.
d. Withdrawal of consent does not entail any negative consequences for the Client, however, it may prevent further use of services or functionalities that Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz may legally provide only with consent. - Right to object to data processing – legal basis: Art. 21 GDPR.
a. The Client has the right to object at any time – on grounds relating to their particular situation – to the processing of their personal data, including profiling, if Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz processes their data based on a legitimate interest, e.g., marketing of Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz products and services, conducting statistics on the use of individual functionalities of the Online Store and facilitating the use of the Online Store, as well as satisfaction surveys.
b. Opting out of receiving marketing communications regarding products or services by email will mean the Client’s objection to the processing of their personal data, including profiling for these purposes.
c. If the Client’s objection is justified and Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz does not have another legal basis for processing personal data, the Client’s personal data regarding which the Client objected will be deleted. - Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) – legal basis: Art. 17 GDPR.
a. The Client has the right to request the erasure of all or some personal data.
b. The Client has the right to request the erasure of personal data if:
i. personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed;
ii. consent has been withdrawn, to the extent that personal data were processed based on their consent;
iii. an objection has been raised to the use of their data for marketing purposes;
iv. personal data are processed unlawfully;
v. personal data must be erased for compliance with a legal obligation under Union or Member State law to which Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz is subject;
vi. personal data have been collected in relation to the offer of information society services.
c. Despite the request for erasure of personal data, in connection with an objection or withdrawal of consent, Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz may retain certain personal data to the extent that processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims, as well as for compliance with a legal obligation requiring processing by Union or Member State law to which Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz is subject. This applies in particular to personal data including: first name, last name, email address, which are retained for the purpose of handling complaints and claims related to the use of Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz services, or additionally residential address/correspondence address, order number, which are retained for the purpose of handling complaints and claims related to concluded sales contracts or service provision. - Right to restriction of processing – legal basis: Art. 18 GDPR.
a. The Client has the right to request the restriction of processing of their personal data. Submitting such a request, until it is considered, prevents the use of certain functionalities or services whose use would involve the processing of the data covered by the request. Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz will also not send any communications, including marketing ones.
b. The Client has the right to request the restriction of the use of personal data in the following cases:
i. when the accuracy of their personal data is contested – then Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz restricts their use for a period necessary to verify the accuracy of the data, but no longer than 7 days;
ii. when the data processing is unlawful, and instead of deleting the data, the Client requests the restriction of their use;
iii. when personal data are no longer needed for the purposes for which they were collected or used but are required by the Client for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims;
iv. when an objection to the use of their data has been raised – then the restriction occurs for the time needed to consider whether – due to the particular situation – the protection of the Client’s interests, rights and freedoms outweighs the interests pursued by the Administrator when processing the Client’s personal data. - Right of access to data – legal basis: Art. 15 GDPR.
a. The Client has the right to obtain from the Administrator confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning them are being processed, and where that is the case, the Client has the right to:
i. obtain access to their personal data;
ii. obtain information about the purposes of processing, categories of personal data processed, recipients or categories of recipients of these data, the envisaged period for which the Client’s data will be stored, or the criteria used to determine that period (when it is not possible to specify the envisaged processing period), about the rights granted to the Client under the GDPR and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, about the source of these data, about automated decision-making, including profiling and safeguards applied in connection with the transfer of these data outside the European Union;
iii. obtain a copy of their personal data. - Right to rectification of data – legal basis: Art. 16 GDPR.
a. The Client has the right to request from the Administrator without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning them. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, the data subject has the right to have incomplete personal data completed, including by means of providing a supplementary statement, by sending a request to the email address in accordance with §6 of the Privacy Policy. - Right to data portability – legal basis: Art. 20 GDPR.
a. The Client has the right to receive their personal data, which they have provided to the Administrator, and then to transmit those data to another, chosen by them, personal data controller. The Client also has the right to have the personal data transmitted directly from the Administrator to another controller, where technically feasible. In such a case, the Administrator will send the Client’s personal data in a csv file format, which is a commonly used, machine-readable format and allows for the transfer of the received data to another personal data controller. - In the event that the Client exercises a right resulting from the above rights, Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz fulfills the request or refuses to fulfill it without undue delay, but no later than within one month of receiving it. However, if – due to the complex nature of the request or the number of requests – Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz is unable to fulfill the request within one month, it will fulfill it within the next two months, informing the Client beforehand within one month of receiving the request – about the intended extension of the deadline and its reasons.
- The Client may submit complaints, inquiries, and requests to the Administrator regarding the processing of their personal data and the exercise of their rights.
- The Client has the right to request Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz to provide a copy of standard contractual clauses by sending an inquiry in the manner indicated in §6 of the Privacy Policy.
- The Client has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, regarding the violation of their rights to personal data protection or other rights granted under the GDPR.
§ 5 Security management – password
- Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz provides Clients with a secure and encrypted connection during the transmission of personal data and during logging into the Client’s Account on the Website. Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz uses an SSL certificate issued by one of the leading global companies in terms of security and encryption of data transmitted over the Internet.
- If a Client with an account in the Online Store has lost their access password in any way, the Online Store allows for the generation of a new password. Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz does not send password reminders. The password is stored in encrypted form, in a way that makes it impossible to read. To generate a new password, the email address must be provided in the form available under the “Forgot your password” link, provided next to the login form for the account in the Online Store. The Client will receive an electronic message containing a redirect to a dedicated form available on the Online Store Website, where the Client will be able to set a new password, to the email address provided during registration or saved in the last account profile change.
- Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz never sends any correspondence, including electronic correspondence, requesting login data, and in particular the access password to the Client’s account.
§ 6 Changes to the Privacy Policy
- The Privacy Policy may change, about which Lanyards Group Maciej Jerz will inform Clients 7 days in advance.

§ 7 Governing Law and Language of the Agreement
All sales agreements are concluded in the Polish language and subject exclusively to Polish law. Any disputes arising from such agreements shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of Polish courts.
