Tampo printing
Pad printing is a printing technique in which the paint is transferred to the surface using a flexible tampon. This process involves the transfer of paint from a concave sieve pattern to an object to be printed.
During the printing, the pattern is printed on special sieves called clich茅s. The plates are soaked with paint, and excess paint is removed from the surface with a squeegee. Then the flexible tampon is pressed to the film, and the paint is transferred from the film to the tampon. The tampon is then pressed against the surface of the item on which the printout is to be made. Thanks to the flexibility of the tampon, the paint adheres to the surface of the object and then is separated from the film, leaving the printout.
Tampo printing is often used for printing on irregular surfaces such as golf balls, pens, cups, toys, and other items with hard-to-reach surfaces.聽
This technique is also popular in the advertising industry and the production of printed items. Advanced tamper machines have four colors that can be combined into different color combinations. Prints made using the technique of printing remain clear and durable on many materials: plastic, wood, metal, rubber, leather, and glass.
