Latex print

Latex print is a printing technique that uses latex paints to create prints on various surfaces. This process involves applying latex paint to the material using a special latex printer.

Latex paints are based on water and contain pigments, latex polymers, and other additives. Before printing, the surface of the material is prepared by cleaning, applying primer, or other specialized processes, depending on the type of material.

During latex printing, the printer with printheads moves on the material, applying paint to the surface. The paint is then fixed by a thermal or UV process. Thanks to this process, it becomes durable and resistant to abrasion and weather conditions.

This is an ecological technique because latex paints are solvent-free and have a low content of volatile organic compounds (VOC).
